What is Rapid Re-Housing

January 28, 2019

Great graphic by the National Alliance to End Homelessness explaining what is Rapid Rehousing.

Our Rapid Rehousing program moves homeless families and individuals back into permanent housing as quickly as possible (within 30 days of approval for the rehousing program) through landlord outreach, rental assistance, case management, moving help and assistance with furnishings (when available). Rapid Rehousing works with families and individuals who have barriers to permanent housing (e.g., past evictions, unemployment, domestic violence, criminal history) and connects them to community resources to further aid their housing stability.

In 2018, our Rapid Rehousing team moved home 398 individuals, including children, moved from homelessness to home.

Donate or Pledge today to support our work to move even more individuals and families home.
