We invite you to come on Tuesday, June 19th at 7:30 am for a FREE breakfast at the Cotton Room to celebrate 26 years of advocating affordable housing opportunities and services to the Durham community.
Join in on the conversation and learn how you can help from advocates and experts about Durham's homelessness and affordable housing issues. There is HOPE, and TOGETHER we can have an impact on homelessness to ensure each of our neighbors has a place to call home.
This year Mayor Steve Schewel and Farad Ali, CEO/President for The Institute join to discuss affordable housing and economic development in Durham.
RSVP soon as there is limited space and spots are filling up fast!
"When I look at Durham's history, I see progressive residents who value building a strong, supportive community. We've transformed a neglected city into a vibrant art and cultural destination, but we will not allow revitalization to alter our sense of values - values that include ensuring our most vulnerable neighbors are not left behind." ~ Olive Joyner, Executive Director Housing for New Hope
In Fall 2018, Housing for New Hope will begin renovations on the former DOVE House, a transitional housing community for women, into co-living rental units. Renamed "Hope Together", the location will provide affordable housing and support for single women.
Help our mission to prevent and end homelessness, one valuable person at a time by joining us on June 19th or donating today. Without your contributions, we would not have been there when our neighbors needed us the most.
